The Ellington Field Fun Run is a 1.6-mile community event designed to promote fitness, camaraderie, and resilience among service members, families, and supporters. The run will take place at Ellington Field, with check-in beginning at 6:30 AM and the official start time at 7:00 AM.
The USO is proud to serve as a partner to the Ellington Field Leadership for this event, ensuring that participants feel supported and connected throughout the morning. USO volunteers will be on site to:
Support check-in and event flow
Staff refuel stations with water and light refreshments along the route
Cheer on participants to keep motivation high
Provide a welcoming recovery space at the finish line with snacks and beverages. The Fun Run is open to all fitness levels. Whether participants choose to walk, jog, or run, the focus of the event is on community spirit and wellness.
By joining the Fun Run, participants not only strengthen their own health but also share in the USO mission of keeping service members strong, connected, and resilient.
