Join us at Minute Maid Park’s Union Station on July 19, 2024, for a night of joy and camaraderie at the 2024 USO Houston Military Kids Ball! This special event is designed for military families to come together and celebrate in style.
Starting at 5:45 p.m., guests will be greeted with open arms and can embark on an exclusive ballpark tour, delving into the storied history of Minute Maid Park. Following the tour, indulge in a delectable dinner prepared in-house, courtesy of the Astros Foundation, while listening to the inspiring tale of American hero Mr. Danny Mata, a decorated Purple Heart recipient and Vietnam Veteran.
The evening will be filled with excitement as our live DJ spins tunes for dancing, and table games provide endless entertainment. Capture the memories with photos taken by one of our amazing USO Volunteers using our USO backdrop. (we can take them with your phone to make it easy and free)
Dress to impress in your semi-formal attire. Military personnel are encouraged to wear their formal uniforms, and children from JROTC are invited to do the same. Formal dress is recommended for military kids, spouses, and other guests to make the occasion truly memorable.
