USO Houston Birthday Bash at Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base (EFJRB)

The USO Houston Birthday Bash at Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base is a celebratory program designed to honor the USO’s birthday by doing what we do best—showing up for service members. This event brings together service members, USO staff, and volunteers for a relaxed, engaging celebration focused on connection, appreciation, and fun.

The program features interactive games such as cornhole, giant Jenga, card games, and friendly table-top challenges, paired with fresh coffee and light refreshments to create a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere. These activities encourage laughter, conversation, and meaningful connections—giving service members a chance to decompress and enjoy moments of normalcy.

USO volunteers and staff will be on site to facilitate games, serve refreshments, and engage directly with our heroes—sharing information about USO programs while “loving on” those who serve through genuine connection and support.

This birthday celebration reflects the heart of the USO mission: strengthening the well-being of service members and their families by building community, fostering connection, and celebrating alongside them—one game, one cup of coffee, and one smile at a time.
