Experience an unforgettable family adventure with the Family Overnight Program at Space Center Houston on April 26-27, 2025. Spend the night camping beneath a twice-flown Falcon 9 rocket or under the iconic Boeing 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft in Independence Plaza. Prefer an indoor experience? Bring a sleeping bag and pillow to rest among rare spaceflight artifacts.
The overnight program includes a welcome briefing, hands-on STEM activities, dinner and breakfast, and a second-day visit to Space Center Houston. Outdoor campsites are 10-by-10 feet, ensuring a cozy and immersive space experience for the whole family.
Program Schedule First Day – Evening 5:00 p.m. – Check-in
6:00 p.m. – Welcome Show
6:15 p.m. – Catered Dinner
7:00 p.m. – Hands-on STEM Activities
10:00 p.m. – Get ready for bed
11:00 p.m. – Lights out
Second Day – Morning 6:45 a.m. – Wake-up, pack-up, and load gear in vehicles
7:45 a.m. – Catered Breakfast
8:20 a.m. – ISS Space Explorers Film
9:00 a.m. – Tram Tour of NASA Johnson Space Center
10:00 a.m. – Dismissal
