USO Houston Ready Together

The USO Houston End-to-End Deployment Support Program is designed to walk alongside service members and their families throughout every phase of the deployment journey. From pre-deployment through departure, the USO will be on site to ensure our heroes and their loved ones are fully aware of the programs, resources, and opportunities available to support them before, during, and after deployment.

USO staff and volunteers will create a welcoming, supportive environment by providing coffee, snacks, and a friendly presence—along with interactive activities such as cornhole and Jenga to encourage connection, conversation, and moments of normalcy during a critical transition. These simple, engaging games offer service members and families an opportunity to relax, interact, and build community in a low-pressure, supportive setting.

Volunteers will be available to engage with families, answer questions, and share information about ongoing USO services, reinforcing that they are not alone and that the USO remains a constant source of support throughout the deployment cycle.
