USO Freedom 5k

A congressionally chartered, highly rated 501©3 charitable organization, the USO relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations and corporations to support its activities, and is powered by a family of volunteers to accomplish our mission of strength and connection.

The USO Houston serves over 100,000 local and transient military service members and their families at our four centers and community programs each year. Houston is home to a joint reserve base, countless national guard and reserve units, active duty coast guard and recruiting stations for each of the 5 branches. We serve the more than 10,500 actively serving military plus their families.

Simultaneously, we are sponsoring a 5k run for deployed military in Kuwait at Ali Al Salem Air Base in partnership with USO Camp Buehring! Camp Buehring serves over 25,000 service members per month! Can’t run? You can sponsor a runner in Kuwait on the registration page.
