COVID-19 Response

Our team drove through rain most of the way from Fort Sill, Oklahoma but super excited to deliver goods to support the soldiers and families in need at Fort Polk, Louisiana! Thank you for allowing the USO to be the Force Behind the Forces! ​

Fort Polk, had several families quarantined either due to symptoms or soldiers returning from highly impacted areas. With the Chaplains had been tasked with developing a plan to get those families goods and reached out to USO Houston. Within 48 hours USO Houston had coordinated a plan to find food available along with​ setting up delivery for ​those families in need. ​The impact resulted in ​over 2800 meals being ​delivered. ​
